Billy the poet CHAPTER FIVE

.

Billy sits at the lunch counter and waits for Alicia (is also known as Andrea, her government name) to ask him for his order. His heart is racing and he feels a bit woozy.
His hands trembling, Billy reaches into his knapsack and pulls out an envelope.
"This is for you. Please don't open it here. Open it when you get home."
   "Hmmmm. Is it a surprise?"
"Yeah, yeah" "I just can't wait." We can hear the sarcasm in her voice.
Andrea gets home and opens the envelope. She reads the words on the paper sitting down.
"What the fff..." She shakes her head. She sits there for a couple of minutes, checks on the kids. They're asleep. She knocks on Shameka's door.
"Girlfriend, you gotta get a load of this." She touches her chest right below her neck, clears her throat and bobbles her head.

I crave your hair , your voice, your lips.
Needy, starving, I glide through the streets.
Bagels don't fill me, cops they chase me, all night.
I look for the roundness of your grey essence

I jones for your orange smile,
your hair the hues of a   Calliope of colors
starving for the flaring of your nostrils,
I want to wolf you down like a tangerine

Baby I need you

Run with me.

I want to gobble you up like a cheeseburger

You invade my sleep. I chase and you slip away.
Like an elevator in a skyscraper,

You make my ears pop

I buy coffee just to smell your scent
I leave the Greek's starving for you

End my misery you witch, you hypnotist you sorceress.
